I love the service we get at brake masters. Jesse is always on top of things. Abraham is awesome as well. We bring all four of our cars here and always get a great deal.

Brake Masters did a fantastic job when I had a major issue with my front brakes. On top of letting them go too long before a pad change I was having issues with a spongy pedal. This is an extremely busy time of year for me and I only had a few hours free, Abraham made sure everything was set and and could get it done in time and the price was good. Unfortunately there were additional problems and while the guys stayed open a bit later to try and get my car back to me that day it was not possible. This would have been a major issue for me so Abraham provided me with a replacement truck and had my car repaired the next morning so I could pick it up on the way back from my morning appointment. These guys went over the top to provide great service and were extremely fair with the pricing for the initial work and even more so with the additional issues found after the fact. I will be using these guys again.

The guys here are all wonderful. I got my brakes down here a while ago because they had the best prices in town. I came in today because my check engine light came on. Most other places charge for this but they did it for free. It was something minor about the gas cap so they checked it (for free) and I went on my way. A little bit after I went to get gas down the road and my car wouldn’t start. I freaked out. I called a tow truck then I called the shop back to make sure it wasn’t something that they missed. Instead of making me wait, they sent their technician, Sima, I think his name was, out to come look at my car. Before the tow truck even got there he got my car started again! He is such a good guy, he checked everything and drove it to make sure I wasn’t going to be stranded again then turned off my car and started it again. All of this and they didn’t charge me a dime. I was so happy and relieved. I’m a customer for life now.

Had my 2009 Toyota Camry’s brakes done here, along with my alternator and several other services. I’ve always taken my car to the dealership for repairs. But I decided to try A local business this time. Saved myself A lot of money!
I was very happy with my services here, the staff was very friendly and knew what they were talking about. They took me out to my car, had me look under it and actually see what needed to be done instead of showing me on paper, as a dealership would.
Abraham walked me through the entire process and was very helpful in getting me to understand the repairs that needed to be done.
I would highly recommend this place for your auto repair needs!

I work right around the corner from Brake Masters, so I tend to come here pretty often. When they first opened next to my work a few years back, the price was ridiculously high so we never thought to give them a try again. But one day I decided to take my car in for an oil change so I could just walk back to work and they charged me a fair enough price.
Fast forward a year and they’ve replaced my brake pads and rotors on my charger for only $ 600. It seems like a lot, but I’ve been to places who charged that for my old Mazda I had a few years back. They got it done in less than 3 hours as well.
So a couple days ago, I came by for another oil change and since we’re all so familiar with each other by now, they gave me an amazing deal on an oil change that would have typically cost me $ 6070 (synthetic). All the guys are super friendly and cool so I never feel like I’ll be told to get something I don’t actually need. It also just helps in general when you get along with them so well.
I’m not sure they’ll sell you with their rates alone, but their customer service is amazing along with their dedication to get everything done in a reasonable amount of time. Not to mention the convenience that they’re literally 1 minute walking time away from me… such a great place and I’ll continue coming here for sure.

Went in for an oil change, thought I was getting the $ 25 oil change special only to find out my 2009 Camry was actually $ 30. But that wasn’t the problem, when I went to pick up they said I really needed an alignment. Didn’t think much about it because I had new tires put on and aligned recently. I drove away and got on the highway, and now it veers drastically and shakes violently when braking. Now I know why they tried to sell me an alignment.

I took my 2012 Toyota Camry XLE in on Monday, August 31, 2015 to get a stripped wheel stud replaced and a missing lug nut (acorn style) replaced.
When I got my car home, and looked at the «new» lug nut, I noticed that the rounded top of the lug nut was caved in and the side edges of the lug nut were nearly stripped. Obviously, the replacement lug nut had been pounded on and nearly stripped.
Reply to comment by Abraham R.:
Thank you for trying to get in touch with me to resolve the issue. But, frankly, it was just easier to buy a $ 4 lug nut at O’Reilly’s than to bring my car back in to your shop. And, no, this is not an attempt to libel your business reputation.

I had several different repairs done there two years ago. One was fixing my drivers side window because it wouldn’t go up or down. After driving on the freeway I took it back in to thier shop because the sound from the window was so loud in my ear because it wasn’t quit going up all the way. They repaired it and let me know it cost THEM to do it as it needed another part that was not calculated in the the price I had paid. It worked properly and I went on my way. Well now two years later I started having trouble with it again and to make a long story short; Brake Master was going to replace the part and probably would have installed it all again with no charge to me. They REALLY do guarantee thier work apparently and they had a really GOOD attitude about the whole situation. As it turned out the part they had replaced was NOT the part that was broken so I did not need any contribution from them re: repairing my window. But its nice to know they were «stand behind thier work» people, even two years later. Bravo to them!!!

Brake pad warning light went off in my car so I needed to find a repair center. Found this location on Unilocal with solid reviews. My experience today was the same. Sima walked me through the repairs, talked me out of having a few things done since I may be selling the car soon, and had me on my way in a little over a hour. The owner has a great sense of humor and everyone was very nice, felt like a place I could trust. Definitely recommend!

I visited these guys today looking to get some much needed services from my long trip here, and one to come soon. I found these guys to be honest and helpful beyond anything I expected. Generally speaking I’ve never had a bad experience with any Brake Masters location. But by far this location is the best! Thanks for all the help Jesse, Sima. Abraham you make us feel safe to trust our vehicle with your crew from a woman’s point of view. See you soon!

My truck spent 5 hours there and I spent 3. Went in for a brake job which the said it only needed the front brakes done. After waiting for my new rotors came in they started installing them. Found out they were the wrong ones. Played that game twice, then they finally got it right. Good on them for catching the problem before it turned into an accident and handled it professionally.
Said they gave me discounts for bearings and such but still paid $ 400
Nice group of guys and very friendly. Overall I might go back depending on the work I need done.

As promised, Jesse called me on Monday with a quote for my trunk. He also took the opportunity to ask how my car was running after they fixed the brakes on Saturday.
WINNING!

I was referred here by a family member and was also impressed with the Unilocal reviews. I highly recommend these guys. They were friendly, informative and they charged me the price that was originally quoted. Also, that price was $ 350 less than the quote I received from the dealer and the dealer doesn’t have a lifetime warranty on the pads. Jesse did a great job with service and communication from the time I stopped by for a quote to the time I picked up my vehicle once the repairs were completed. A+, 5 Stars, 2 thumbs up!

Its really great when you find a mechanic or auto repair shop you can really trust! This is exactly what I found when I visited Brake Masters yesterday — to have some brake work done on my Altima.
I had taken my car in for brakes about a year ago to a cheap place in Santa Ana. The place I visited charged me a boat load for brakes and new rotors claiming my new car’s rotors could not be machined — hmmm.
So, after getting frustrated at the constant squeeking, I finally visited Brake Masters in SM. Right from the start, their customer service, clear communication and speed were great.
After dropping the car off, I received a call in about an hour — telling me the brake pads I had (from the crummy place) were still perfectly good — they were just squeaky and probably of disappointing quality. The technician told me he couldn’t — in good conscience — recommend new brakes for me (as there was no safegy or wear issues; plenty of pad left)…unless I simply wanted to solve for the noise problem (which I did).
So, I decided to have the front brakes done ($ 189+tax) and an oil change… and everything looks and sounds (absence of sound) great.
In the end, how refreshing is it to go to a mechanic, have them honestly diagnose your car… not upsell or oversell you… and fix the car — right, the first time! It was a very fair price combined with really quality service. I can’t recommend them enough!!!

I was calling around for a place with good Unilocal reviews for servicing the brakes on my daughter’s Forester. After getting some really high quotes, I called Brake Masters who invited me in for a free brake inspection. I showed up about an hour before closing and was able to get right in.
The staff was all friendly and answered my questions thoroughly. I learned about the brand of pads they use and the options as far as cost vs. quality. I decided to give them the go ahead, thinking I would have to bring it back tomorrow, but they were willing to stay and get it done.
As I was waiting for it, they kept me informed about what they were finding. Several of the rotors were warped, as I suspected, so I was expecting bad news and increased cost, but they were able to machine the rotors one last time.
I had front and rear brakes and fluid flush done for a very reasonable cost and done quickly and efficiently. This morning I received a phone call asking me if everything was working as expected and thanking me for my business.
All in all, very satisfied with this business.
