I turned 12 weeks yesterday & have been fighting a small cold. the drainage is the worst part because it makes me cough/gag then I vomit. it happened once yesterday morning and then again this morning.
now I'm sore where baby is...
I know I can take Claritin D to help dry up the drainage & warm tea with lemon & honey to help my throat... but what else do you ladies take to dry up the drainage so you don't cough/gag/vomit?

I just got over a cold this last few days as well. I took mucinex (guaifenesin). it like immediately helped me feel better I only ended up having to take it twice and didn't need to anymore. my doctor told me you can't take Sudafed until 13 weeks but she did say if I was close to 13 weeks it should probably be okay but I didn't take it because the mucinex worked great. I hope you feel better soon.

oh I forgot we can take mucinex. I'll have to see if I have any left. thank you! I'm feeling much better today, just wanting the drainage to be stopped.
